It all started with one lady who wanted to help some poor villagers in Batam who did not have the means to get the glasses they needed in order to see well......
She started to gather people to go along with her to Batam. It started with miserable responses. Then the news spread and she ended up with 20 others half of which are not even from her workplace to help her......
So the day came...... 26th Feb 2010...... The pic above only reflected half of the full strength going. In case you have not realised, I am the handsome guy on the left of the pic......
The good thing about a camera with a dual lcd screen is that you can talk pics anywhere, even in a car...... and you will not miss out anyone......

The journey was arduous but...... but...... when the going gets tough, the tough gets going...... not that we had a choice...... We had to walk a distance before we could get on the boat to bring us to the kelong......
Of all places I could have looked, I had to peep at the toilet first. That's the most important place...... :)
The bed's pretty comfy. Thank God!
Overall, the place's pretty nice and cosy...... We had three persons to a room and each room had a bathroom. Hallelujah!
